ORIENTATION

Septt 16-1, 2007 Introduces the staff and students. We will present the course of study that the students will follow over the next two years. Also certain key skills will be emphasized, such as writing, note-taking, etc.

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE
Sept 24-Oct 5, 2007 Taught by Scott Ogburn and Austin McCaskill. The students will be taught principles for effectively studying God's Word. Using Howard Hendrick's Living By The Book and Robertson McQuilkin's Understanding and Applying the Bible, they will experience the riches of God's Word through hands-on observation, interpretation and application. The goal of the class is the result of correct understanding of Scripture: a changed life.

READING WEEK
Oct 15-19, 2007 We wish to impress upon the students the importance of continued, life-long learning by reading a novel. The class time is spent analyzing and discussing the material.

SERVANT LEADERSHIP
Oct 22-26, 2007 Developed from materials by Medical Ambassadors, this course will complement other materials on leadership provided by the CCL.

NEW TESTAMENT SURVEY
Nov 5-21, 2007 Taught by Jack Dabney. So often our knowledge of the New Testament is fragmented, consisting of seemingly unrelated stories in the gospels and Acts and then a bunch of isolated teaching making up the epistles. This class will provide a framework for students to understand the New Testament as a whole.

SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY
Dec 3-14, 2007 Taught by Bryan Beyer. A knowledge of the essentials of the faith is key to effective leadership in the faith. This class will introduce students to the "Queen of Sciences" on a basic, practical level.

APOLOGETICS
Jan 7-18, 2008 Taught by Austin McCaskill. The students will be taught principles for defending their faith, specifically in an Albanian context.

TITUS 2 WOMEN'S CONFERENCE/ MEN'S CONFERENCE
Jan 7-18, 2008 Women's Conference taught by Denton Bible Church from Denton, TX.The Titus 2 conference for women gives them biblical tools as they mentor other women in their relationships. These relationships begin with God and extend to the choices they make as they develop mature, godly relationships. Details of Men's Conference TBA.

MISSIONS
Apr 28-May 9, 2008 Taught by Trevor & Kay Weaver. Using the CAIROS curriculum, students will be encouraged to adopt a heart for praying for the nations and challenged to participate in missions.
